This page is built to show you, the average computer user, how Turbo Dial-Up (V.92) works. It's not some dry as dust tutorial that's supposed to make you a V.92 expert. What it's supposed to do is show you how easy it is to use and how helpful it can be. First off, let's imagine that you're surfing the web. Suddenly, you hear a sound like a telephone with a bad ring. Then you see the following box come up.
As you can see the captions, the choice is yours on how you want to handle it. If you click the deadbeat friend button (aka IGNORE) you'll just get a message that says reconnecting to your Internet Provider. If you click the "ACCEPT" button, the following box will appear.
Once again, you'll get the choice to either go "BACK" to your Internet connection or click "DROP" to drop the line entirely and hang up the phone. And for our last magic box, you'll see the following.
If you're going nuts trying to figure out more about how this stuff works, check out the links on the left. It's got all the geek stuff you're liable to be interested in. If not, I hope this explains it.If you have any more questions, call us. We'll be happy to help!!! |
