Northern Water Based Epoxy Skidproofer
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: CURE SCHEDULE: (70F)
Northern WBES is a Pot life - 1 gallon volume 1.0-1.05 hours
component plus aggregate water based epoxy tack free (dry to touch) 5-8 hours
skidproofer that exhibits characteristics for recoat or topcoat 7-10 hours
chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and light foot traffic 16-24 hours
substrate penetration rivalling solvent based full cure (heavy traffic) 2-7 days
products.
APPLICATION TEMPERATURE:
RECOMMENDED FOR: 55-90 degrees F with relative humidity below 75%
Recommended for skidproofing of concrete.
This product is suitable for bare foot traffic VISCOSITY:
such as in locker rooms, plants, or other Mixed = 1,700-2,500 cps (including aggregate)

including multiple coats of this product. For added
MIX RATIO: chemical resistance, color stability or UV stability,
20.5 pounds (2 gallons) Part A to 4.25 pounds topcoat with a suitable aliohatic urethane.
(.50 gallons) Part B with 12.4 pounds specially
graded aggregate (weight and volumes approximate). DOT CLASSIFICATION:

PACKAGING INFORMATION:
3 gallon kit = 2 gallons Part A plus 0.5 gallon Part B and LIMITATIONS:
12.4 pounds of aggregate packaged in a five gallon mixing * Colors may be affected by high humidity, low
pail. (volumes and weights appropriate) temperatures or chemical exposure.
* Product will yellow in the presence of UV light.
SHELF LIFE: * For best results use a 1/4 nap roller
1 year in unopened container. * Slab on grade requires moisture barrier.
* Substrate temperature must be 5 F above dew point.
FINISH CHARACTERS: * All new concrete must be cured for at least 30 days.
Satin gloss non-slip skidproof texture * Product color will vary from batch to batch.
Therefore, use only product from the same batch for
ABRASION RESISTANCE: an entire job location.
Taber abrasor CS-17 calibrase wheel with 1000 gram * Light or bright colors (off white ect.) may require
total load and 500 cycles = 54 mg loss multiple costs or a topcoat to achieve a satisfactory
hide, depending on the substrate.
