PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: EFR is a two component 100% solids epoxy primer developed for use as the base coat when performing a power troweled floor application. The outstanding feature of this product is the excellent adhesion characteristics to concrete substrates.
RECOMMENDED FOR: for priming concrete or masonry when power troweling, also suitable as a primer for vertical applications.
SPECIFYING INFORMATION:
SOLIDS BY WEIGHT: the solids by weight for the system mixed = 100% (+, - 2%)
V.O.C. PER GALLON: Part A = 0.0 pounds per gallon, Part B = 0.0 pounds per gallon.
COLORS AVAILABLE: amber clear
RECOMMENDED FILM THICKNESS:
we recommend applying 6-10 mils per coat
THEORETICAL COVERAGE PER GALLON: each mixed gallon when applied at 6-10 mils thick will yield 160 to 267 square feet, depending on porosity and type of substrate.
MIX RATION: the mix ratio is 2 to 1 by volume, ie, two parts A to one part B by volume
PACKAGING INFORMATION: available in 3 gallons kits and 15 gallon kits, a 3 gal kit = 2 gallons part A and 1 gallon part B. A 15 gallon kit = two 5 gallon pails of part A and one 5 gallon pail of part B.
SHELF LIFE: I year
FINISH: gloss ( 60 - 90 at 60 degrees @ Erichsen glossmeter)
ABRASION RESISTANCE: Taber abrasor CS-17 calibrase wheel with 1000 gram load and 500 cycles yields a 41.2 mg loss
FLEXIBILITY: no cracks on a 1/8" mandrel
